Privacy Policy

Nudge Me is a habit-reminder app by Duminov Design. Your reminders stay on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and a one-time Premium purchase removes them.

1. Who we are

Nudge Me is developed by Duminov Design, the trading name of “DUMINOV DESIGN” S.R.L. (IDNO 1024600015920), a company registered in the Republic of Moldova and based in Chișinău. We are responsible for how the app handles your data. You can contact us through the contact form on our website or by email at support@trynudgeme.app.

2. Summary

• Your reminders and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot see them.
• There are no accounts. You never give us your name, email address, or phone number.
• The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device data to show and measure ads.
• Premium is a one-time purchase through Google Play or the Apple App Store that removes all ads.
• We do not use analytics and we do not sell your data.

3. Data stored on your device

The app saves the following on your device so your reminders keep working:

• Reminders: name, chosen icon, interval, active hours, active days, and the number of sessions completed today.
• Settings: theme, Do Not Disturb, chosen language, alarm sound, and whether Premium is unlocked.

This data is not sent to us and we have no access to it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. If backup is turned on for your device (such as Android backup or iCloud backup), your system may include it in your personal backup, controlled by your OS account settings.

4. Advertising in the free version

The free version of Nudge Me shows ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob). To show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud, Google may collect:

• Device identifiers, such as your advertising ID and app set ID
• Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
• Information about your device and the app, such as device model, operating system, language, and app version
• How you interact with ads, such as views and taps
• Crash and performance information from the ads SDK

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Google explains how it uses this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Your choices about ads

• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice later from the app’s settings.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (e.g. Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads).
• Buying Premium removes all ads from the app.

6. Premium purchase

Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your payment details. The app only stores a note on your device that Premium is unlocked. Payments and refunds are handled by the app store under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Permissions

The app asks only for the permissions it needs:

• Notifications — to show your reminders.
• Exact alarms — to fire reminders at the time you set.
• Full-screen alerts — to show a reminder when it is due, even when the phone is locked.
• Vibration and wake lock — so a reminder can vibrate and wake the screen.
• Run at start-up — to reschedule your reminders after the device restarts.
• Ignore battery optimisation — (optional, only if you turn it on) so reminders stay reliable when the app is closed.
• Internet access and advertising ID — used by Google AdMob and the app store as described above.

8. Children

Nudge Me is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Keeping and deleting your data

Your reminders and settings stay on your device, so you are in control. Delete a reminder in the app to remove it, or uninstall the app or clear its data to remove everything. We do not keep a copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

To limit advertising data, reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Data collected by Google for ads is kept according to Google’s own retention policies.

10. Security

Your reminders are not sent over the internet. Connections made by Google AdMob and the app store are encrypted.

11. Your rights and complaints

Under Moldova’s Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation where it applies, you have rights to access, correct, and delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent.

Because we do not hold your data on our own servers, most of these rights can be exercised directly on your device. For anything else, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request”, or email us at support@trynudgeme.app. You can also complain to the National Centre for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the app changes the way it handles data. The date on this page shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app about important changes.
